37 Weeks!

Okay so I know I said I wanted to blog more but I've had a million things happening. I promise one day I will get better at it.

I am now 37 weeks preggers and can't believe it is almost baby time. In the beginning you feel like this time will never arrive and now that it is here I don't feel ready. I've got a million things to get in place before baby arrives which is VERY slowly getting done. I'm also hoping my baby is not super huge. I measured about 3 cm bigger then I should last week at my Drs. app. so lets just hope it is not baby making up the difference. I carry the strangest I've ever seen anyone before. Always waaaaay out in front and usually way lower then this, which always makes me feel like I have the weirdest preggo tummy ever. But I always seem to make extra special and super beautiful babies so it is all worth it in the end. haha

Softhearted Man Casting Call!

I am happy to announce my latest casting call " Softhearted Man! "

I am looking for a physically fit man mid 20's - 30's who's not afraid to show his sensitive side, to be photographed along side newborn babies.

All applicants must email me a head shot and body shot. :)

This casting call like all others will:
-be free of charge, however all prints may be purchased at a discounted rate.
-be goaled towards capturing a few images/poses. If time and patience permits, additional poses may be attempted.
-be held in my studio, however I may like to try something outdoor if weather permits.
-require a model release.

Halloween!

This Halloween we headed out with some of our best friends. First we hit up the 5th Street kids Halloween parade and then home for some dinner and then out to a few houses in the neighborhood. Now that there is two kids trick or treating the amount of candy is insane! I can not even imagine when there is 3. Too much junk food and of course I had to help them eat a little of their chocolate! It's like being a kid all over again when you have kids. You get to re-experience all of your favorite childhood memories.

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

So I have been wanting to blog more, however having the time and actually doing it is a whole other thing. I am going to try to be a little bit better of a blogger but who knows it may change on a day to week to month basis.

First up is this years trip to the Pumpkin Patch. My kids loved it! And I have to say it was one of our best outings just the 3 of us. Usually you have to be on my Sons toes making sure he's not about to face plant into something dangerous. And both listened very well with everything we did that day. YAY, for successful trips with toddlers...not an easy task. Both really enjoyed picking which pumpkins to carve and they also really like the animals there. :)

When we got home my daughter cleaned out an entire pumpkin herself. I was so proud of her and couldn't believe she actually was so into doing it.

Myra!

Myra is 32 Weeks prego and expecting her 2nd. Myra and I go way back about 8 years when we lived in Banff. She was reminding me of stories from the past that had me laughing and reminiscing about our time there. Lots of freezing cold winter fun and craziness!

Sarah!

I had the honor of photographing Sarah this week who is 32 weeks pregnant and expecting her first baby. There is nothing like this special time in your life. Excitement, wonder, anticipation, hope and endless amounts of love. I'm so excited for her to meet her little man, not too much longer now! :)

Hi Everyone,

I know things have been a little slower around here and they are about to get slower.

I am expecting my 3rd child and have been taking an extremely limited amount of clients. I am fully booked and will not be taking any new clients until sometime after the baby arrives. Thanks to all of you interested and hopefully things will pick up sooner then later.

Check back again to see upcoming sessions and I will let you all know when I am ready to get back out there again.

Baby #3 is due January 18, 2010 and the sex is a surprise. Any guesses what I'm having???

Kendra!

Today I photographed the very lovely Kendra! She is 26 Weeks prego and she is actually due the day after me. Hopefully we'll be hospital room buddies. :) She is another one of those lucky ladies with the beautiful pregnancy body, all tummy! This is not the first time I have photographed her, I photographed her beautiful little girl when I first stared taking pictures for others. And now she is expecting her 2nd child, and the sex is a surprise...EXCITING!

Dana!

The ever so lovely and gorgeous Dana! Isn't she beautiful?! Dana came up for a little boudoir session with me last month. She is also a photographer, from Port Alberni. We met last winter and she is just the sweetest chick ever. Muah, Muah girl! ;)

Hunter is ONE!

I can hardly believe it has been a year since I witnessed little Hunter being brought into this world. He is so handsome with his big brown eyes, super cute cheeks and his extra soft baby skin. He is the sweetest little man which is no surprise as he has an extra special and loving Mom.

Colleen and Reid!

Hmmmmmmmm beautiful, beautiful, gorgeous people!

This is one of my dear and oldest friends. We go way back to grade 2, I think. Her name is Colleen and she is one of those girls who are so stunningly beautiful that you have to stop and say WOW! When her son Reid was born 8 years ago, I could not get enough! I would snuggle his little body in my arms and pretend that he was mine. He was PERFECT, and now he is growing into such a handsome big man. He is the sweetest...so in love with Mom and shows it with lots of hugs and kisses!
Now she is 19 weeks preggers with her 2nd sweet little man which I can not wait to meet, which will probably be a while being as they live in Manitoba and I just can't convince her to move back. :(
She brought her super handsome and amazing singer Husband home this time. I must say I approve, he's super nice, cute, handsome and down to earth for a Country music star. Yes, Dave you totally ROCK! So next time your watching the CMT awards keep your eyes open when Doc Walker wins and maybe you will see Colleen out in the crowd looking Fab of course!

Stella!

Sweet, sweet, sweet 5 month old baby Stella all the way from the Cayman Islands!

Stella is such a sweety with the cutest little smile. And fun little personality...very serious!

When her Mom, Cheryl got in touch with me to set up this session I was more then excited. I couldn't wait to see this beautiful baby with her creamy and yummy skin, oh and not to mention her gorgeous little pouty lips. Too perfect! ;)

Keegan!

Little man Keegan! Well actually there is nothing little about him. 6.5 weeks old and 15lbs ALREADY! He is a Big guy with serious cuteness.

It was a absolute pleasure to photograph Keegan today. His Mom and I have been friends since grade 5, everywhere we went people thought we were twins and we agreed that yes we were. haha It is so great to meet your friends babies. We are all getting soooo old!

Anyways thanks Tan, love you guys lots and I hope you had a safe drive home to Victoria. xoxoxoxoxoxo
